So it was Lovely's birthday on Wednesday, and although he had to work the afternoon, I did get the chance to take him out to breakfast. It was such a beautiful day; Spring was teasing us with the promise of her presence in months that we will not be spending in the same hemisphere. Still, I decided not to waste the sunshine, and spent some of the afternoon wandering the Royal Botanical Gardens, with my Game of Thrones audiobook, and that quote from one of my all time desert island books, Echo, circling my mind.
